If you happen to miss a stain and only notice it when it is too late then you're going to need to take a more serious approach. Some of the most common stains and causes of stains on marble floors are from foods such as fruit, tea, and coffee. To clean off these kinds of stains simply use a solution of 12% hydrogen peroxide and some ammonia. Once you have mixed the solution, pour enough of it over the stain and let it sit for between 15 to 25 minutes. Then once that time is up, flush with water. If at the end of that you are still left with some marks then apply some marble polishing powder and buff it out with a damp microfiber mop.
