US UNIFORMS

The uniforms of the United States Army during the Civil War were standardized and well-supplied. There were minor variations based on manufacturer, but for the most part, they were pretty "uniform"...

U.S. Fatigue Jacket - the "sack coat" was the unlined, four-button every day work jacket for almost every soldier in the Union army $85.00

U.S. Enlisted Frock Coat - this was the "dress uniform" coat for the infantryman, dark blue, lined, with sky blue piping $230.00

Officer's Frock Coat - the single-breasted frock was most common with company-level officers, lined, no piping $230.00

Officer's Frock Coat - the double-breasted frock was used by higher ranking officers, lined, no piping $260.00

U.S. Mounted Services Shell Jacket - trimmed with yellow for cavalry or red for artillery, this was their dress jacket $160.00

U.S. Shell Jacket - this plain jacket saw service as an officer's field jacket, and also with enlisted men in the western army $95.00

Foot Trousers - these are the sky blue trousers worn by almost the entire Union army. Button-fly, sideseam pockets $85.00

Mounted Trousers - sky blue trousers with a double-seat for mounted troops. Button-fly, sideseam pockets $95.00

Greatcoat, Foot Pattern - sky blue overcoat with wool cape, stand-up collar, turn-down cuffs, single-breasted $200.00

Greatcoat, Mounted Pattern - sky blue overcoat with longer wool cape, lay-down collar, turn-down cuffs, double-breasted $250.00

Issue Shirt - four-button pullover shirt in muslin or cotton print, full sleeve $30.00

Military Vest - wool front, cotton or muslin back, stand-up collar, two front pockets, tie in back $55.00
